Here you will find technical tips for the ordinary person, a little about me and the technical and web services I can provide.  My focus has always been customer-related with solutions designed to fit your needs.

• I can protect your data (your photos, your memories) by setting you up with an automated backup system
• I can even remotely log into your computer and troubleshoot your problem over the Internet !

I call myself a Jill Of All Trades because I am interested in many different things and accomplished in a few.

I’ve worked since I was a teen and have had a huge variety of jobs:

• worked in agriculture (picked grapes and citrus fruits and artificially inseminated turkeys — don’t ask)
• worked in restaurants and been everything from a restaurateur to a professional cook, bartender, and suds buster (dishwasher)
• trained in electronics when microprocessors were the big deal and PCs were a couple of years away and spent almost 20 years as an engineer in the computer/high tech industry
• moved into academia where I headed up the Online department at UC Berkeley Extension
• played in a number of unplugged and amplified musical configuration. My latest little project is building electric guitars — I’ve made one, now I want to make another. Bring it on !
